NEWZ FROM THE PREZ
JUNE 1992

Hello members! As you remember, you all voted last month to go with a raffle instead of a rummage sale. We have the tickets all printed up and will be passing them out at the June meeting.

I sincerely hope that all members interested in supporting SPACE will turn out in June to get their share and help the Bob Puff fund. There will be a prize for the person that sells the most raffle tickets.

PLEASE COME TO THE JUNE MEETING TO PICK UP RAFFLE TICKETS AND SUPPORT SPACE!

The Bob Puff visit will do great things for this club. Sherm Erickson, The Fitzpatricks, Mike Schmidt, and myself are absolutely convinced of that.

But in order to make it a success, we have to be sure that we have the funds necessary to put on a good fair.

The raffle is what the MEMBERSHIP voted in, I hope that the membership will pull together and sell these tickets so that this club will have more than enough funds to get him out here and not have to hit the treasury.

Let's all pull together and make the Bob Puff visit very good for our club! See you in June!

Your president,
Nathan Block

The meeting was once again opened by prez. Nathan Block at roughly 7:45pm.

A policy of Falcon Hights Community Center is that no one can use the LOT for such purposes as our Rummage sale. Therefor the meetings activities were concentrated on finding a new location for the S.P.A.C.E. Rummage Sale.

Then Nathan asked the audience if they might know who to contact for an available LOT. A few ideas came up but none really panned out. Larry had an idea of electing certian person willing to contact local businesses, churches, etc. to help find the available space required to hold this event.

Another idea mentioned at the meeting:

To hold a raffle at the Bob Puff Fan Fair allowing a certian person/persons to win prizes like T.V. sets, etc. A price was mentioned for the tickets at $2 for 10 tickets. The rest of the meeting was concentrated on the raffle tickets and these subjects:

  1. How to sell them.
  2. Where to sell them.
  3. The ticket price.
  4. Special permits required to sell the raffle tickets.
  5. Where/how to print the raffle tickets.

Thats it for this month! Have a great start to this summer!!!
